We've been making this since 2005 and it's definitely our top selling wine each year. 2023 has given the wine an elegant frame with black cherry, spice and other red fruits - blood plum, cranberries - floral with some dry herbs\/tea. Always a lovely acidity and those very fine, persistent tannins. Looks great now but as always, if you can hold onto it for 5+ years you'll be rewarded with more savour and intensity. Processed to whole berries in 10hl oak cuves and concrete for fermentation. On skins for 6 months then pressed to large format foudre for second year. Our oldest vines, planted to a range of Brunello clones.
